Haier wall-mounted heat pumps in two new-build homes

Two new-build houses, one in Aylesbury and one in Bicester. In both, the indoor unit is mounted high on the wall so it stays clear of furniture and the airflow carries across the whole room.

Air conditioning in a new-build home

New-build houses are well insulated and airtight, which keeps the heat in during winter but means bedrooms and south-facing rooms can get very warm in summer. A reversible heat pump fixes both: it cools on hot nights and heats efficiently the rest of the year. On a newer home it’s worth checking your development’s rules on anything fixed to the outside walls before booking; we can talk this through at the free survey.
